Flatlay – Senior Ball Edition

Well friends…
I have senior ball pictures…
I wanted to do a flatlay!
The back of the dress was AMAZING!

The earrings I went with… There are two in the above photo but I chose these.

The clutch

The Headband

The necklace
I couldn’t find a necklace that I liked so I made my own.
The shoes
I was SO excited about my whole ensemble! The dress was gorgeous (and look at that back, sooooo cool)
I knew I didn’t want to get a “typical” prom-senior ball dress and I knew that if I shopped here in my hometown that’s all I’d find.

While I was out in California this past January I made it my personal mission to find “The Dress”

I found two AMAZING designer vintage dresses in a fabulous little vintage shop/salon that I drooled over (and still dream about to this day) but when my mom saw them she wasn’t the biggest fan. I sadly continued the search… I tried Nordtrom’s (and found two more contenders) but knew that neither dress was “the one”…

Then I happened upon the most incredible boutique ever.

Dolcetti Boutique

I tried on a few dresses and the gal helping me (her name was Parisa) pulled the navy dress… At first I wasn’t sure about the dress but the second I put it on I fell in love. It was flowy, and the back was amazing. I quickly called my boyfriend to ask if “you know… we’re planning on going to anymore dances *cough* senior ball *cough* this year…” he confirmed that indeed I could plan on going to senior ball.

I knew I would be the only girl at the dance with THAT exact dress and that nobody would match me.

My mom loved the dress just as much as I did and we agreed that was the one I should get.

Senior ball was a little over 2 weeks ago and it was a blast! I will add photos from the dance soon.

Just like Julie Andrews, I Could’ve Danced All Night 😉
