London Calling

“When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life.”
– Samuel Johnson

I decided I needed to mix up my posts a little…
So I went to London.
Hope you enjoy me being a typical tourist!

Elementary my dear Watson…

At the Westminster Bridge!

These Tom’s Wedges are the comfiest shoes EVER!

Outside of Buckingham!

I was in Couture HEAVEN. I may have cried…

This officially dubbed me as a tourist!

Well, in a few short weeks I will no longer be a tourist… I will be considered a local!

If you didn’t know already…
I’M MOVING TO ENGLAND FOR A YEAR!
Super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super super excited.
(Super… if you couldn’t tell)
And yes I WAS THERE THE DAY HRH GEORGIE WAS BORN!
(He and I are going to be besties… He’s so cute!)
Anywho… While I was there it was SO hot out… 90’s the whole time. I was SO thankful I packed this cute CAbi outfit! It looks just like a jump suit and is a really thin material, but thick enough that you can’t see through it. I adore this outfit.  Those pants = the comfiest thing ever. They’re basically sweatpants you can wear in public.
We started out the day at the Sherlock Holmes Museum, then took the tube to Westminster Abbey. From Westminster we went to lunch at a cute pub and then sauntered down the road to Buckingham Palace. After Buckingham we talked to Trafalgar Square and rode the tube to see the church that Spurgeon preached at. We finished up the evening at the place that I imagined heaven will be like…
HARRODS!
I was pretty much in shock the whole time.
I almost cried walking through the couture area.
It was so gorgeous.
Elie Saab.
Died.
I.
Just.
Died.
It was AMAZING!
Of course the saying “If you look at the price tag, you can’t afford it” rang true in my ears so I avoided looking at all the price tags.
At least I was able to pretend I could afford it.
Oh well…
I will one day wear an Elie Saab gown.
It’s destiny.
Until then I will continue to pin their gowns.
Hope you enjoyed my photos!
Until the next fabulous outfit!
xoxo,
Maddie
