It Was A Dark & Stormy Day

I may be back at school but I still have some photos to show off from my month long journey around Europe!

The day before we left Barcelona was dark and stormy. I wanted to capture the huge scale of the waves crashing on the shore but my minimal camera operating skills didn’t allow for that.

It was incredibly windy out so please excuse my crazy hair.
The air literally tasted of salt.
The jacket you’ve seen before so it’s old news. If you want to read about it you can here.

The leggings are the same ponte knit material and are super comfortable. They aren’t the stereotypical leggings that you purchase at Forever 21… These leggings mean business. The hold you in wherever you may need to be held in… (Which according to this post are a few places since I love Gelato)

This shirt… It is one of the pieces that I purchased for 1 Euro while shopping at Free P Star in Paris (It’s a Parisian thrift store) I’ll explain more about the store in a later post.

I saw it while digging through the 1 Euro bin and I thought it was super cute and I can’t wait to wear it this Fall. I only wish I had a steamer along for the trip, but I can’t exactly fit that in my suitcase.

Are you proud of me? I managed to live out of a carry-on sized suitcase for FOUR WEEKS. One of my best choices for Spring Break was purchasing shoes at Primark beforehand for a few pounds (3 pair for around 10 pounds) that I knew I could trash and throw away. I ended up throwing away my Tom’s wedges on break too, because after more than a year of wear and tear and canvasing London town 3 times in them they had seen better days. This means that I was able to purchase a *few* things *cough* while traveling.

Those sandals were one of the pair that I purchased and I simply threw them away after my stay in Catania.

The sunnies were ones I talked about in old posts. If you missed the post you can read it here.

As I told you in my post about the Barcelona dress, I fell in love with the city. I hope that I can return soon to relax on the beach and go grab some Ice Cream from “Eyes Cream” (a must visit place if you’re in Barcelona!)

Have any of you been to Barcelona? What did you think about it?

Hope you had a lovely Easter season! If you feel like sending me some leftover Easter candy to me please do…. I’m really craving those Hershey eggs.
