Well my skirt I ordered from Dresslink finally arrived, it took longer than expected because of having to change my address for the summer but I think it was worth the wait!
I was also supposed to receive some super cute sunnies but
Lets get back to the skirt though, for real, it is absolutely gorgeous. It’s not constructed very well but the skirt is so pretty it totally makes up for it. I realized after the shoot that I originally requested the skirt in a different print, but I’m glad they shipped me this one instead. I think it’s prettier.
I paired it with a simple sheer blouse from cabi that has become a staple for me. I honestly have over a 1/2 dozen white cabi blouses that I wear all the time. Since I wasn’t able to wear the sunnies from dresslink I just tossed on my favorite pair from Francesca’s.
Doesn’t the skirt look like Monet painted fabric then someone made it into a skirt? The scene reminds me of Lord of the Rings when they are in the city of the Elves. It’s Rivendell right? I’m too lazy to Google it right now. Someone tell me in the comments…
Also, I had so much fun shooting in downtown with my friend Ben. We ended up getting more shots than I could use in this post but I wanted to share one of my favorite shots that he took above. Hair game = on point.
I’m really looking forward to working more with Dresslink and seeing where the partnership will go in the future!
