Hey there friends,
The lighting isn’t as dreamy on this flat lay as my previous one from Texas but I cannot wait to show y’all some of the things I brought to Florida and brought back!
1. Kate Spade drawstring leather purse.
I have been wanting a new purse for a while, my Fossil purse has seen better days. One of the days I had off from working down in Orlando a few of my coworkers and I caught an Uber to the outlet mall. While they all hit stores like Abercrombie & PacSun I leisurely strolled through Kate Spade. I had my eye on this purse way back in May. The fact that it was 40% off, plus a student discount, plus another 20% off purses that day? Well, the choice was pretty easy.
2. cabi nectar link bracelets.
One of the perks of working for cabi is that I get access to their shopping event that has a ton of their old inventory and it’s all massively marked down. The employee discount on top of that? Let’s just say these bracelets were the first things on my list. I adore them and they look adorable worn stacked or one on each arm.
3. I AM VERY BUSY phone case.
This was my first purchase after my lovely brother-in-law sent me his old iphone. I was apart of the stone-age and still had been rocking my 4s. Instead of me spending money on a phone that is just going to be old news by the end of the year he sent me his. (Thanks Ryan!) I spotted this phone case forever ago and I knew this is exactly the one I needed now that I have my fancy 5s.
On the day that my mom and I went to Epcot I decided that I wanted to get a small dorm-warming gift for me and my future roomies. I decided that a pack of chopsticks would be a great present because I hope it will encourage us to eat a few meals together and grow a really awesome relationship! I am so excited for my roommates this year!
5. GAP denim shorts.
While randomly shopping with Cristian we wandered into GAP a few days before I left for Orlando. I came across these shorts and then it hit me. I hadn’t purchased a pair of denim shorts in over 5 years. The two pair I had before still fit… They’re from Delia’s. (So that may hint as to how old they are! Haha!) I decided a new pair of grown up shorts would be a wise investment. So far I love them 🙂
6. Paris Street Style book.
I’m a sucker for fashion books and coffee table books. I cannot go into a bookstore and come out empty handed and usually it’s a book like this. While at Papyrus I came across this book and fell in love with it. I read it all on the plane and it’s chalk-full of great styling tips and inspiration for outfits. If you find it, pick it up, you won’t regret it. This book is such a lovely addition to my every growing collection of fashion books!
7. Valentina perfume & Prada Candy soaps.
My mom wanted to get a really special present for me for my 21st birthday. I thought that a trip to Disney was enough but she wanted me to have something to take home to remember it by. While in the world showcase we wandered into a perfume shop and I fell in love with the Valentina scent. My mom insisted in purchasing it for me, and when the lady checking us out discovered it was a birthday present, she gave me the Prada Candy soaps as a gift. Disney sure is a magical place, and whenever I put that perfume on I am constantly reminded of the fantastic trip with my mom.
This is an old pair I’ve had for a long time. They’ve been in quite a few posts and if you’ve forgotten they’re from Francesca’s. I was in there last month and they still had them in stock, so if you love them, hit up the store soon and they may still have this pair!
9. Kate Spade notepad.
We began this post with Kate Spade so it’s only fitting we end with it too. I thought this notepad was so adorable and when my mom noticed I had my eyes on it she swiped it from me and headed to the check out. I can’t wait to put if on my desk at my new apartment this school year, although it’s ALMOST too pretty to use.
Hope you enjoyed my flatlay/haul from Florida.
Are you excited for school to be starting again soon? I cannot wait to get back on campus and to hang out with my new roommates and see my sorority sisters again!
Hope you have a lovely rest of your summer!
