I was debating if I should post this or not considering the weather is warming up, and it’s a rather cool weather outfit. BUUUUUUT, I realized I really should keep updating my blog with my outfits since it is indeed a fashion blog. (Who would have thought those two would connect? 😉
This is the final post of photos from Alison Su, and I’m sad to see this “era” come to an end. I guess it just means I need to hop on a plane to Denver so we can meet up again. As I have mentioned before, but I will mention it again, thank you Alison! The photos are gorgeous!
Doesn’t this outfit look very “top of the class?” I think of Elle Woods when she went to Harvard when I wear this. A classic boiled wool jacket, paired with a pretty but conservative blouse. Perhaps the fact that I’m sitting on a desk and in front of a chalk board contributes to the aesthetic.
You could easily dress this up with a pencil skirt or a pair of dress pants, or dress it down with a pair of ripped up blue jeans.
And to top it off, (maybe not the top, but the bottom) some sassy leopard heels. I made the mistake of leaving them at home after break, and have been missing the extra few inches of height while I’m at school. So many girls complain about wearing heels, but if the weather permits it, and you feel up for trekking around in them all day… Heck! Go for it girl!
You guys, I am SO close to being done with school for the year. Only a few weeks left. Pray for me. It’s been a long semester, and taking 19 credits doesn’t bode well for an easy finals schedule. Maybe I’ll wear this outfit to inspire myself, dress for success right?
Does anyone have summer plans? I know that I’ll be working, a lot. A girl has to pay for her wedding. I also have an internship with Gather on Broadway! I will be running their social media pages, and I am really excited to be joining their team.
I also have a few summer goals. I’m not going to write them out here, because I would rather write a post about it that I can reference back to so it won’t get lost in the OOTD feed. It’s not super exciting, a lot of cleaning and organizing, as well as wedding stuff.
I can’t wait to get back in the swing of taking outfit photos once school is over! Hope you all have a great rest of the school year, keep holding on, summer is SO close!
